Alliance For Science Ghana

Our Programmes

SCIENCE CONNECTIONS

This initiative seeks to get young people interested in science, technology, engineering and mathematic (STEM) careers. It’s a broad based programme that encompasses mentoring sessions and speaking engagements for students, as well as practical tutorials that take students into the spaces scientists work in, for hands on experiences.

FOOD FIRST

This initiative advocates for the application of improved technology to agric production as a sure way to enhance food security. We empower farmers, the public and policy makers with knowledge on agric innovations to encourage their adoption. We work several partners including farmer groups, civil society groups, government agencies and other stakeholders to put the power of choice on the kind of technology needed on farms in the hands of ordinary farmers.

SAVE THE EARTH

We acknowledge that we will all not live if planet earth is destroyed. So through this initiative, we are planting 1000 trees over the next 10 years and encouraging responsible use of plastics to protect the environment. We also educate the public on what individuals can do to stop climate change

1193 INITIATIVE

This initiative aims to raise 1.193 million Ghana Cedis (about $200,000) to fund our activities over the next three years. Kindly send us an email on allianceforscienceghana@gmail.com if you have any support you can give us.
